About this Workshop
Rage room meets therapy session!
This workshop might be for you if you
- are looking for a way to release all the emotional yuck you’ve been carrying,
- want to learn ways to help support your nervous system after “melt downs,” panic attacks, “outbursts,” or general stress,
- have ever wanted to go to a rage room, but were worried about being too wound up afterwards,
- or just want to come see what it’s like to go to a therapeutic workshop that will teach you more about your emotional process.
Come join us in releasing all the pent up emotional yuck while also learning how to support your nervous system!

What to expect:
You will
- learn about anger and challenging emotions
- learn ways to release emotional turmoil
- learn ways to support your nervous system
- be encouraged to recall those challenging emotions
- be invited to engage in activities to release the emotional yuck
- be supported in using newly learned tools to support your nervous system
- be given space to reflect on your process
- be asked to make a commitment to yourself based on your experience
What to bring:
- Pillow
- needed for smashing on the ground, and/or for sitting
- Yoga mat
- recommended for sitting and/or for designating your space
- Journal
- optional for taking notes on reflections
- Water
- optional, though we will be releasing pent up energy
Special notices:
Doors will close 10 minutes after start time.
Should you arrive late, we will not be able to issue refunds, though you may contact our center for other dates you may attend.
This space is up one flight of stairs with no elevator access (we are looking into other locations!).
We will also be sitting on the floor at the start and during reflection time. If this will be a challenge for you, we welcome you to bring your own foldable portable chair, though please be mindful that we may require it to be placed downstairs during a portion of the activities to allow for more space.
Parking: We’re doing this in an industrial area with only street parking available. While there is likely enough street parking for everyone, be mindful that you may need to walk a block or two from where you park depending on attendance numbers and time of arrival. Please be mindful of arriving in enough time to find parking, walk to the entrance, and get situated in the space before doors close!

This workshop will be held in an industrial area located in San Jose 95110 within the intersections of Coleman Ave, W Hedding St, W Taylor St, and The Alameda.

Scholarship Program:
We believe in making our services as accessible as possible. Through our pay-it-forward scholarship program, we set aside a portion of our workshop proceeds to support attendees who might not otherwise be able to join us. We also reserve a number of pay-what-you-can spots for therapy clients, based on how many full-fee clients we’re currently serving, and this fund helps extend that same support in these contexts.
